How We Verify Deals
Every deal listed on LuckyDealFinder goes through a manual verification step before it's published. Here's exactly what that looks like.
We confirm the offer exists at the linked URL
Before publishing, we visit the merchant's page and confirm the deal is live. We don't publish from press releases or deal feeds alone — we check the actual product or landing page.
We verify the price matches the discount claim
The sale price shown on our page is confirmed against the merchant's current listed price. We add an item to cart where possible to check the checkout price before publishing.
We check the expiration date against merchant materials
Where a merchant provides an explicit end date — in their promotional banner, terms, or email — we display it. Where no date is given, we mark the deal "ongoing — verify before purchase" rather than inventing a deadline.
Discount percentages are independently calculated
We only publish a percentage discount when we can verify both the original price and sale price independently. We do not use inflated "compare at" or MSRP prices to make discounts appear larger than they are.
Ongoing audits after publication
Live deals are checked on a rolling basis. Deals that have expired are updated with current offers or removed. We do not keep dead-link pages live. Expired deals that still have SEO value are clearly marked as expired with a note to check the merchant for current pricing.
