This policy explains how LuckyDealFinder sources, verifies, and maintains deal content — and what standards govern every page on this site.
LuckyDealFinder exists to help readers find deals that are real, current, and worth their time. We are an editorial publication, not a coupon directory. Every deal featured on this site is reviewed by a human editor before publication, regardless of source.
How Deals Are Sourced
Deals are sourced through:
- Direct monitoring of merchant websites and promotional emails
- Affiliate network deal feeds (reviewed editorially, not published automatically)
- Brand and merchant submissions to our editorial team
- Reader tips
All deals are reviewed by a human editor before publication regardless of source. Automated feed imports are not published without manual review.
Verification Process
Before any deal goes live, we confirm:
- The offer exists at the linked merchant URL
- The discount or price claim is accurate based on the merchant's current listed price
- Any coupon code functions correctly
- The stated expiration date is supported by the merchant's own promotional materials

Discount Percentage Claims
We calculate discounts based on the merchant's current or recently published regular price. We do not use inflated manufacturer's suggested retail prices (MSRP) or artificially elevated "compare at" prices to make discounts appear larger than they are. If we cannot independently verify both the original and sale price, we do not publish a percentage claim.
Expiration Policy
Where a merchant provides an explicit expiration date, we display it. Where no date is provided, we label the deal "ongoing — verify at checkout." Deals are audited on a rolling basis. Expired deals are removed or updated within 24 hours of detection where possible. We do not keep dead-link deal pages live without marking them clearly as expired.
What we do not do
- No pay-for-placement. We do not accept payment from merchants or brands to feature, rank, or highlight their deals. Editorial decisions are independent of commercial relationships.
- No fake savings percentages. We do not publish discount claims we cannot independently verify.
- No fake countdown timers. We do not use artificial urgency devices that reset on page reload.
- No dead links left live. Expired deal pages are updated or clearly marked — not abandoned.
- No undisclosed affiliate links. Every page carrying an affiliate relationship carries a visible disclosure.
Some deals on this site are monetized through affiliate links. A commission is earned only when a reader makes a purchase — commissions do not influence which deals are selected for coverage. See our full Affiliate Disclosure.

Content Standards
All editorial content on this site is original. We do not republish content from other publications without attribution. Deal copy is written to inform — not to manufacture urgency or mislead readers about price or availability.
